The mission of the VNA is to be the most patient-focused provider of aging, hospice, palliative, and grief support services in Northwest Indiana.
In the midst of life’s most difficult moments, people are faced with the challenge of making huge decisions that impact the future of their loved ones. They need an expert to help them navigate these unchartered waters. They need VNA.
VNA is the most patient-focused provider of aging, palliative, hospice and grief support services in Northwest Indiana. VNA’s services provide comfort, peace-of-mind and superior care to families working through the aging process, a terminal diagnosis or the loss of a loved one. Care is provided throughout Northwest Indiana, including Lake, LaPorte, Jasper, Porter and Starke counties.
VNA Hospice is an ACHC Accredited program.
Programs of the VNA are supported in part through a grant from the United Way of Porter County.
As a nonprofit organization, VNA is a mission-driven organization. Instead of focusing on profits, VNA employs a patient-centric model where the patient and family are the organization’s highest priority. This focus on people over profits combined with nationally recognized services, makes VNA a provider of choice.
VNA’s comprehensive services celebrate the lives of the individuals we serve, provide unparalleled, compassionate care for those in life’s final moments and create an atmosphere that helps grieving families embrace hope.
The VNA has recently rebranded, taking on a new look, as well as a new focus on serving all of Northwest Indiana. Listen as VNA President and CEO Ann O'Heir explains the importance of this project.
Contributions to the VNA Foundation support our life changing services including VNA, the VNA Hospice program, the VNA Phoenix Center and VNA Meals on Wheels. These donations enable the organization to continue to provide quality care for patients and their families.
